NOTICE FROM THE PPP NATIONAL SECRETARIAT (NA)

The People’s Progressive Party (PPP) is pleased to inform all members, supporters, and the general public that the Party has successfully conducted the Upper River Region (URR) Regional Congress, in full compliance with Article 25 of the PPP Constitution.

Under the visionary leadership of the Secretary-General and Party Leader, Ousman Madikay Faal, the PPP continues its nationwide mission to reorganize and restructure its grassroots structures in order to strengthen community engagement and promote effective political participation across the country.

The Congress, held on 14 December 2025, brought together committed and dedicated party members from across the Upper River Region, who reaffirmed their collective resolve to revitalize and reposition the PPP. At the conclusion of the Congress, the following individuals were duly elected to serve as the Upper River Regional Executive Committee for a term of three (3) years:

  1. Chairperson: Musa Jallow
  2. Deputy Chairperson: Kumba Camara
  3. Regional Secretary: Mamudou Jallow
  4. Deputy Regional Secretary: Sainey Jambang
  5. Treasurer: Muhammed Drammeh
  6. Deputy Treasurer: Isatou Camara
  7. Regional Mobilizer: Kodeh Damba
  8. Deputy Regional Mobilizer: Ida Jaw
  9. Spokesperson: Arafang Jawneh
  10. Deputy Spokesperson: Mariama Jawla
  11. Regional Organizer: Samba Mballow
  12. Deputy Regional Organizer: Amie Sillah

Following the elections, the Secretary-General and Party Leader, Ousman Madikay Faal, congratulated all the newly elected officials and reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to supporting the Regional Executive to ensure they are fully equipped and empowered to effectively carry out their mandates.

Together, we are rebuilding a stronger, more connected, and more vibrant People’s Progressive Party.
