Nomination of Pa Modou Jagne as National Youth President

The National Secretrait is pleased to announce the nomination of Pa Modou Jagne as the National Youth President, following the promotion of Sir Dawda H.E. Jarju to National Administrative Secretary.

Pa Modou Jagne brings to this position a strong record of dedication, discipline, and unwavering service to the Party. He previously served as Deputy Youth Mobilizer, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening youth participation, coordinating grassroots mobilization, and supporting key party programs and activities across various regions. His contributions significantly enhanced the visibility, organization, and effectiveness of the Party’s youth structures.

In addition to his mobilization responsibilities, Pa Modou Jagne is a member of the Central Committee. This role reflects the trust and confidence placed in his leadership, judgment, and commitment to the Party’s core values and long-term vision. His involvement at this level has enabled him to contribute meaningfully to strategic deliberations, policy formulation, and the Party’s institutional strengthening.

As National Youth President, Pa Modou Jagne will provide strategic leadership to the youth wing of the Party. His mandate includes coordinating and strengthening youth structures nationwide, promoting political education and civic awareness among young members, fostering unity, discipline, and inclusiveness within the youth ranks, and mobilizing young people to actively participate in party programs and national development initiatives. This role is essential for nurturing future leadership and ensuring that the voices, energy, and aspirations of young people are fully represented within the Party.

The Party Leader has expressed great pride in Pa Modou Jagane, describing his growth, loyalty, and consistency as exemplary and noting that his elevation is both well-deserved and timely. This appointment reflects strong confidence in his capacity to lead with integrity, vision, and responsibility.
