PPP EUROPEAN CHAPTER ESTABLISHED
The People’s Progressive Party (PPP) has established a European Chapter as part of the party’s ongoing efforts to expand its membership base and strengthen the reorganization and restructuring of the party both at home and abroad.
Acting on Article 31 of the PPP Constitution, and following consultations with the Party Diaspora President, Mr. Foday Singhateh, the Secretary General and Party Leader Ousman Madikay Faal hereby nominate the following individuals as executives of the PPP European Chapter:
1. President – Baboucarr Camara
2. Vice President – Amadou Touray
3. Spokesperson – Sulayman Jawo
4. Mobilizer – Abdullah Jatta
5. Campaign Manager – Lamin Jatta
6. Organizer – Muhammed Camara
7. Secretary General – Musa Fofana
8. Treasurer – Ousman Ceesay
9. Adviser – Buba Sawo
The primary responsibility of the executive committee is to recruit more members across Europe and facilitate the establishment of PPP chapters in different European countries.
The revitalization of the PPP is crucial in ensuring that the party not only preserves and defends the legacy of its governance policies, but also introduces new ideas and solutions to better serve the Gambian people.
The Secretary General and Party Leader congratulate the newly nominated executive members and extend sincere appreciation to Hon. Saikou Sawo and Mrs. Nenneh Cheyassin Secka Kebe for the important role they played in establishing this significant chapter.
