We express our deepest condolences to the family of Jattakunda on the sad passing of Hon. Mbemba Jatta.

Hon. Mbemba Jatta served this nation with dedication, humility, and commitment through his distinguished roles in government and public service.

Hon. Jatta served as a minister in various ministries under the People’s Progressive Party (PPP) Government. As a former Minister of Trade and National Assembly Member for Kombo South, he played a significant role in advancing national development, strengthening democratic governance, and representing the interests of his constituents and the Gambian people with dignity and patriotism. His contributions to public service and national discourse will always be remembered.

This message of condolence is extended to his family, friends, party members, political leaders, supporters, and sympathizers during this difficult time. We call on all Gambians to remember Hon. Mbemba Jatta in our prayers and to reflect on his service and contributions to the nation.
